I am taking arthretec (anti-inflammatory) because of the jaw surgery I had recently but it is by prescription. Maybe call a 24 hour service to see what they suggest. I find the arthretec bloats me and have read online that is a side effect so i can't wait til i'm done with it - another 5.5 days. Good luck and hope you feel better. Perhaps tylenol til you can get in touch with your doc.

well said, may need even more fills but when you do have more fill you will feel a difference.

Join the club. If you're like me and weight loss stalls I panic. I did low carb for a while and dropped some weight in the last 3-4 weeks. Now I am switching over to weight watchers which I know works because I have done it before. When I get tired of that I will go back to low carb. I really think that shaking things up makes a difference. I will see how the next few weeks go with weight watchers. Keep your chin up, i'm personally always confused however if I do want a quick weight loss I stick to low carb - problem for me is i'm having a hard time eating any solid meat because of my recent jaw surgery so need some softer foods - I had fish everyday for about 3 weeks and it's enough for now. I'm growing gills.

It happens, we are always too hard on ourselves. I saw my ex-boyfriend today who lives not too far from me and he ignores me like an insect - we had a very good connection many years ago and unfortunately I still really feel that he is the one for me. It was bad timing long ago (post divorce for me and confused), I can't go back and change that and I have to face it. I pray to God to give me guidance. Hang in there Shaun, just after Easter I had a bit of a cave in and ate 2 pretty big pieces of cake and was so mad at myself.

Are you at a healthy bmi? The weight tends to drop off from the top to the bottom so your face may be taking a bit of a hit, I'm pretty sure it will even out. I don't think anybody should say you look sick - that's not nice.

No achy joints or fatigue, had loads of energy. Maybe give your doc a quick call, ask if they think you may need some vitamins or if you are eating the proper things.

I had a bit of pain - very little and took pain medication for about 2 days, didn't need it after that.

perhaps low-carbing it for a week will get the weight moving again. I am 20 pounds from goal and am low carbing it and the weight does seem to come off a bit faster. low carbing - i mean under 30 grams of carbs per day. I use myfitnesspal to track this info. I am also trying my hardest to stay under 900 calories per day which isn't that hard. The only exception is for special occasions like Mother's Day this Sunday. If i don't see some progress I am going to try for a week the below diet. http://www.ehow.com/how_4846891_lose-pounds-one-week.html

I have no problem eating anything as long as it is well chewed. Won't you be less depressed when you lose your excess weight? Keep your eye on the prize not a few weeks of liquid diet. I know how depressed i was when overweight and in the obese category - just knowing i'm not there anymore brings a smile to my face. -

the same happened to me. I have about half the hair I used to have. I take a Multivitamin, b complex and now Biotin. Hair seems to have stabilized. I went for laser hair treatment because I was so afraid. My hair has stabilized and now that my band is looser it feels much better. I talked to my doctor, had all the blood work done for thyroid, hormones etc. in great health.

Hello, I have had jaw surgery approximately 12 days ago and though am going through an unbelievably painful recovery am glad I had it. It was necessary as my jaw was quite receded and in conjunction with my braces it was pretty much mandatory or no use getting braces to correct overbite. I have been on a strictly liquid diet and will be for another week and a bit (enjoying the weight loss), then to soft foods - at which time I will have my band filled back up to where it was prior to surgery. I would like to finish up my weight loss so was perusing the internet about no carb option for a quick few pounds loss. I came across this Dukan Diet and from the blogs that I've read it is quite encouraging. Quite a bit like Atkins MINUS the fat. Any thoughts? Anybody tried it?

diet update- was going very well until I had to take a strong anti-inflammatory because of my jaw operation - water retention, rapid weight gain and constipation - up about 6 pounds! prescription ends in 3 and 1/2 days and will see if weight goes back down.
