Could you be having some post-partum depression? I went through that many years ago after my daughter was born and I was unsatisfied with my husband's share in the marriage.

Welcome! I was also banded on the same day and with the same hernia repair. (I saw your other post). I am also new to this site. Others will probably give you some great advice for what to eat in the first few weeks. sugar free jello is pretty nice.

Teburgess, check into this site often - sometimes just talking to other people who have had the procedure can get your mind off things. Good luck and don't give up. -

I know how you feel. I was quite slim some years ago and am embarrassed to walk on the main streets near where I live because my ex-boyfriend doesn't live too far away. Sounds funny probably but vanity is part of my personality. I do a lot of gardening around the house and walk around quite a bit but would like to start by setting a mandatory 30 minute walk - even if I have to use side streets. Walking even at a slow pace has always been recommended to me by chiropractor as I have recurring back problems. To me, that's a nice way to ease back into exercise and good time to spend with oneself. -
Howdy Michael and welcome to this forum. It's a great place with great people and loads of helpful advice.

campbell's soup, creamy type, sometimes low fat chicken though I put some half and half cream in (about 3 tbsps) which makes it super yummy and that keeps me full for about 3 - 4 hours. I also make other creamy soups but from packaged powder mixes - they have nice Polish ones here in Toronto such as cauliflower or mushroom - very satisfying and very filling!

:thumbup:Great news! Congratulations!

Hello, the consultant at the clinic that I went to is about 5'4" and started at 346, she is now 140. She let me touch the port on her abdomen to see how it felt. If she hadn't shown me where it was I wouldn't have known except for the scar that is there from the incision. I believe she had a tummy tuck but i didn't ask. When I was much thinner 20 years ago and had a baby I was left with sagging skin that will always be there unless I have it fixed. My highest weight at 5"3" was about 190. Hope this helps. Lena

Hello, even with the productive burping it sounds like you should speak to your doctor. Health is important even if it does cost. Lena -
ticker factory ticker - how do you put it?
mousek posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
How do you get the ticker factory ticker in properly so that you can click on it to adjust it. Tried so many times with instructions found on internet re bb ? what do you exactly copy and paste and where do you exactly put that in the signature area? I copied and pasted what i thought was right but when i click on it there is no action. I know that i should be able to click on it and be brought to the site to adjust it. -
:thumbup:Way to go Palmtreegirl! It really is exciting isn't it. Congrats! Lena
