2 miles and calisthenics! That's a lot - cheers to you! i walked 35 minutes today. -
:smile:It is normal not to be hungry at this stage. My doctor insisted that is be on clear fluids for the first week (broth, jello) second week full liquids (cream soups etc) mushed food third week no solids until fourth week. Maybe talk to the doctor to see what he recommends. Lots of luck to you!

:Banane23:Hello, fellow summer lovers; I was at Wal Mart the other day and noticed they had a huge ton of beautiful swimsuits both in regular size and plus size - gorgeous colours, great styles the works.

Initially, but it doesn't last that long. Hunger starts to creep back in after a few weeks if there isn't any fill in the band.

Nervous about next stage of diet
mousek replied to Chargenrse's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Hello, I am in the mushie stage and am finding that ground meat is much easier for not getting stuck in the throat though it still has to be well chewed. I havent tried pureeing meat. I had some tuna from the can but had to mush mush mush it up with the fork to be able to swallow it. I ate it unmushed first and it was so painful. I added some mayonnaise and then a little bit of water to mush it out. -
Will i see the weight fall off?
mousek replied to candy rain's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I totally agree. I see my photo as in my profile one which was taken in Dec 09 and I look like a football player - only I am not wearing the protective pads - it just looks like I am. -
That is a really fun feeling. I can't wait to throw away my 10 litre ones too.
-
Hello, I went through the same thing. Please take very very small sips. It can be very painful if you take larger sips. I couldn't really swallow too much until about 7 days after surgery and if I take a big gulp now, 16 days post op - it is very uncomfortable.

banded, banding, bands--verb--To assemble or unite in a group
mousek replied to LeighaMason's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
:yesnod:Wow, thank you so much for the warm welcome I have received. Leigha, my daughter is turning 18 shortly, getting her driver's license as well though a bit problematic here - the offices are so busy because they are backlogged after having a quite long strike. It's hard to believe they grow up and so fast! -

mousek replied to tonya66's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I think the formula is that the apple cider is mixed with some warm Water and honey? Heard it many years ago. found an article on internet with the remedy. Apple Cider Vinegar and Weight Loss I tried it for a while but it tasted so horrible I gave it up - then again in those days I had about 8 - 10 pounds to lose -

I found a cure for Acid Reflux/heartburn
mousek replied to tonya66's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
apple cider vinegar is also used as a form of weight loss if taken daily. chronic heartburn or acid reflux? I would definitely want to know the cause even if it involves going to a naturopath or homeopath who deals in natural health - apple cider vinegar is a natural health product. -
