hello,was just wondering how many,if any of you have went from the band to the sleeve,what prompted this and did insurance cover it? i had the band back in 2010, ive lost about 40lbs..went from a size 16 to a 12..while im happy with that i have become more and more frustrated...i had to have a little Fluid taken out as i was a little too tight,,but now ive gained 4 lbs...my doctor want me to count calories,ect..i kinda thought that with the band i wouldnt have to to that...i dont want my whole life to be about calories...what i can eat or cant eat..ya know? plus i work long hours and have like no time to excersise.so i feel horrible about that..my family gets alttlel frustrated especially my husband with the fact that im always saying...I cant eat that...ect...i know like 4 women who have had the sleeve and they seem to have fewer food issues than i have and have lost way more weight than i have in a shorter amount of time...makes me kinda envious to be truthful..i would like to have the sleeve done but dont know if that is even an option..as i am now down to 193 with a BMI of 34....

Hi everyone, its been awhile since ive been on here, well here is the story, i lost my job last year and how things are going in michigan i have been unable to secure a job, plus i have no health insurance, well i have lost a total of 40 lbs since my surgery last year, but ive hit a wall, i fluctuate between 191-195 i havent been to my docs for about 4-5 months now because i cant afford the self pay right now, but im wooried that maybe i have a slipped band,some days i feel like i can eat anything with no problems other days everything seems do bother me,ive had a cough latly but not sure if this is reflux related or just the crud thats going around,a couple of weeks ago i went to florida and new orleans with some friends who footed the trip for me to i could get away and try to destress, we had a great time but we ate out alot and i had a few episoded of vomiting now since ive been home im just freaked that i may have a slipped band and i have no money to go to the docs or get an upper GI as im still paying on the last one i had, i dont know what to do. i dont want to lose my band! i have like 40 more pounds to go, but i dont want to go back to how i was before, any advise?

just wondering what does everyone use to figure out how many calories youve burned with excersise or in general on any given day? ive lowered my calorie intake but want to also create a 300-500 calorie deficit with excersise......

HELP! I had surgery in sept. i have lost 35 lbs but now have been stalled for 2 months... i lost my job and my insurance.. cant afford a fill right now.. but i also have felt since getting the band that i am able to eat more than most people describe with their bands.....im worried my pouch is stretched! what can i do do fix this? also im at home all day now i have no car as my husbands was wrecked.... i feel like my eating is out of control... i feel out of control.. i really could use some advise/tips help... thank you

hello im kinda new here, had my surgery on 9-9-10 have lost a total of 23lbs so far..... have been stalled at current weight for 2 weeks now:sad: have my first fill oct 5th what im wondering is how is everyone getting their 70 grams of protein in a day when your only supposed to be eating 2-3 times a day?

ok so i was banded on 9-9-10 lost 10 lbs pre-op and 13 after for a total of 23lbs went from 228-205lbs was stoked!:rolleyes2: but then i started the mushie then solid stages and lose nothing.... i hover between 205-208 and back again... i am only taking in about 1000-1200 cal a day so why am i not losing.. when to maintain a weight of 205 u should take in 1677 a day WHAT GIVES!? has anyone else experienced this? will i start losing again? my first fill is due oct 5th

omg! i have this same neck/shoulder pain but it doesnt seem to be tied to eating or not eating i just seem to have it almost daily to some extent.......

Im a sept 9 2010 bandee! have lost 23 lbs so far 10 lbs before on the liquid phase and 10 after..... my problem is that when i started eating mushies and solids i quit losing and am just maintaining even tho i dont go over 1000 -1200 cal. a day... confused since to maintain my current weight of 205 should take like 1677 cal a day! my doc says its normal at this stage since i have not had my first fill yet that will be oct5th is any one else having this issue?
