  1. Hey sorry to post this on this topic but could you please tell me how you got your ticker onto this site. I make the ticker on tickerfactory.com but I don't know how to move it over here?
  2. Hi...It is nice to find a fellow Joliet patient here. My doctor is Doctor Joyce. I am scheduled for the bank on May 11th. On the two week pre-op diet now. Ugh!!! It is actually getting easier though. Any tips on what to expect or what to do or not do before/after surgery?? Would love to hear whatever you would like to share.

    Feeling weak and no energy

Hi...I am on my 6th day pre-op diet. Pretty much same as yours except I don't get the fruit. I have found that I am weak on and off but I think that is to be expected. Once I make myself get up and get moving I am better but you are right it is hard. I have found that I am better when I eat fish instead of other meat. Not sure why that is but it works for me. Good luck with the rest of your pre-op. Hope it gets easier for you and that you feel stronger soon.

    Pre-OP Countdown

Hey All, I am new here so not sure what I am doing. Hope this works. Well I had my consult with my surgeon yesterday and signed all the consents. I am having the lapband surgery on May 11th. I have been on the pre-op diet since Tuesday. It has been difficult but not impossible. Two protein shakes a day for two meals and 4 oz protein and 1/2 cup vegetables for one meal. Certainly not used to living on that little but guess I better get used to it real fast. I am hoping that this is all going to be worth it. Have read so much from people who are so glad they did and others who regret it terribly. Hard to know what to expect. Would love to hear from some of you. Thanks, Lisa
