I had surgery April 21, 2010 and have had hiccups for the last two days. Thanks for explaining this. I feel good but a bit tired. It is hard to listen to the body and realize the signs it is giving me, after so many years of ignoring it! The no water for 30 minutes before and after meals is what throws me, so now I set the timer.
