I am very solid built, and have always been on the big side. But in the last 3or4 years, my health has started to decline. I am only 48 years old and I came to the realization that if I don't start taking care of myself I will suffer a a great deal in my elder years. Both of my parents died with cancer around 65 years old. I have 2 grown sons that are just starting their lives and I want to be around to see and spoil my grandchildren.  I also want to be able to get out and do some living that my weight has always kept me from doing. My brother had his lapband surgery in March 2010, he is ding great so I decided that after my busy season(Tax Season) was over this year I would check into having it done. I have my evaluation on April 20th, 2010, so I am reading and trying to absorb as much information as I can.
