I'm doing good, just got my second fill this week and it has been tough, got a lot of restriction and I am only at 4.6cc's. Have lost a total of 20lbs since surgery on 5/11 and 32lbs total...

Have not been here since just before getting the band. Had some complications. My body rejected the stitches and I ended up with two sites of infection that had to be healed and the wounds open packed. It has been made of suck.

Things are good now. Just had my first fill yesterday.

Hi there, Crissy!

I am getting mine done at NorthWest Weight Loss Surgery Center in Everett. All they do for weight loss is Lap Band. Hearing that you are going to Swedish for yours makes me wonder if I have made a mistake. Just because Swedish is such a wonderful hospital. NWWLS has been wonderful. They have support meetings twice a month and open appointments for counseling so that part is nice.

I read about your infection... best of luck with that! Hope you are making a quick recovery and getting on top of it. I am on my post op diet. Three 110 calorie protein shakes and one 400 calorie meal a day. It is crazy. However, important because it shrinks the liver to make the surgery easier.

Thursday is my surgery. Should take four hours and then I can go home.

I will let you know how things were for me.

I am more nervous than I thought I would be. About the journey after the surgery and not the surgery itself.

Hi Ketanyara!! how are you?? Well welcome to the site, I am still learning to move around in it. So I live in Issaquah, and also am a Microsoft wife . Who are you getting your surgery done by? I'm doing it with Dr. McMahon in Swedish. So originally my surgery date was on 4/20 and I got a bad infection the night before my surgery, so now it's posponed to the 11th. I would love to buddy up with you. Keep me posted on your progress. Take care
