I am not a very large person but my weight just keeps to pile on. I have supra-ventricular tachycardia, hypoglycemia which has already started causing seizures, i have sleep apnea and sleep paralysis, fibromyalgia, lupus and severe depression which is mostly linked with the severe pain I deal with. I'm 25 years old and while moving around should be a easy it isn't. Walking through the grocery store for too long can hurt to the point where I may not be able to walk for the rest of the day, so it is difficult to exercise even in small amounts. Therefor my weight just keeps going up, my heart issues get worse and so does the sleep issues. At my latest appointment with my doctor he told me that he was going to send me to see my nutritionist for a month more and then to a weight loss doctor to start what needed to be done for the lap band. I never thought I was heavy enough for weight loss surgery but apparently I'm sick enough and getting the band will be extremely beneficial for my health.
