I have had my band for 18 months and have had some ups and downs but mostly ups, have lost almost five stones out of a hopeful 10 so almost halfway there, things have slowed down lately so have tried to change my eating pattern(getting a bit complacent)and have started to exercise, i am in the best place that i have been for years and am so thankful to have the band which i consider to be my "best friend",would not change a thing,am looking forward to the freedom of a healthier lighter longer life that i have finally created for myself by taking control of a lifelong battle with my weight. hooray to the gastric band, my lifesaver.
