I really hate to be posting this but I have to be accountable to someone. I am almost 2 years out. Started at 331 got down to 224 (107 loss). Well guess what? I am back up to 264!!! 40 gain!!! What the heck happened? It really hit me today. Cold front blew in so I had to put on my jeans. OMG!!! So tight but I refuse to get a bigger size. I am misarable. I decided to go ahead and wear them to show myself what a failure I am right now. The sad thing is I know exactly what went wrong.....I started eating the bad stuff again and no exercise!!! Where do I start from here? liquids again? Just start eating better? How did I let this happen!!!!

I am 4 weeks out from surgery. When I start adding foods back into my diet how long does it take for me to know if I will tolerate it or not? Will I know pretty quick or wil it be a few hours? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing! I'm just curious how you manage to eat that much in one sitting? I am only 1 week out and my Dr. says I can only have 2oz. full liquid at each meal. I would love to be able to eat more

I have Cigna ***. The process was really easy. I did not lose any weight during the 6 months. I just basically maintained. i did have to do a psyhc eval, provide 2 yrs I believe of documentation from my PCP showing I have been overweight, and meet with a nutritionist. I have a document from Cigna that outlines the requirements. Once the 6 months was up my paperwork was submitted on a Tuesday and they approved it the following Monday. 6 Days!!! The surgeon required a sleep study, EKG, blood work, and and upper GI. I am scheduled for surgery this Monday! I will send you the doc on message.

Hello everyone! My name is Lori. I am married with 2 boys (9 and 2). I have been a lurker for a few months. I have cigna insurance so I had the 6 month Dr. supervised weight loss hoop to go thru for insurance. I have had my psych eval. My last appt is 9-20 and then we submit for approval. I can't express how excited and anxious I am to have this done. I met with the surgeon yesterday to a consult (and to make sure I like him). I'm sure I will have lots of questions as I get closer to surgery date. I am shooting for sometime later October.

Hello all, I am going through all the insurance requirements for surgery. I had orginally opted for the lap-band but have recently started researching and leaning toward the sleeve. Does anyone have any advice on which one is better/easier? Has anyone has the band but had it reversed to the sleeve? Thanks for your help!!!

I am in Mesquite and work in Plano. Surgery has not been scheduled yet. I have 2 more months of insurance hoops to go thru. Hoping for October.
