Banded 8.9.10....24 pounds down....first fill in 2 weeks...cant wait!

Ha! i wished i weighed what i weiged when i was preggo! i weighed no more than 180 at 9 months preggo with both my kids! i'm was sneakin up on 250 b4 my surgery.....

I cannot wait until my first fill!!! i was banded August 9....fill is october 5....when i eat my small portions i am satisfied....until my next meal...then my stomach growls sooo loud! and i feel sooo hungry!

, any and all veggies and fruits....chicken breast, tuna, eggs, dry unsweeten cereal, mash potatoes

I ordered the DVD's last week! And they arrived Monday! I'm 2 weeks post op so i havent tried them out yet but cant wait!

I had a Jr. Shake from Steak and Shake....would that be considered cheating? I only had half and really want another today. I do not have to count calories. And have been doing really well sticking to my post op diet.

Day 6 hunger and head hunger set in....Tired of the mushies! Day 8 (2day!)...i had real green beans! Never thought i'd be soo geeked off of real green beans! LOL!

I had 2 start a protein shakes 2 days ago....and like u i cant stomache 2 drink them cause of all the damn liquids! 2day i was able 2 add solids 2 my post op diet....so i will try them 2day!

Today is my first day i can have solids like tuna. I will be going 2 the store 2 get that! Thanx!

I was in tears earlier 2day!!! Until i seen this post i felt like i shouldnt have done this....i am 6days post op...and my my 7 day post op diet is basically baby foods and Soup...i want a pizza and hot dogs dammit!...but i'm okay now...i soo cant wait until monday 2 eat eggs and tuna! (never in my life thought i would say that).... I am thankful that i am 14 pounds post op and its only been 6 days..... sorry had vent!

I was banded Monday and hoping 2 go back 2 work yesterday (Thursday)....but my belly button and the gas are so severe! i'm hoping 2 return this coming Monday!!!

I am having a lil trouble eating....CAUSE I'M NOT HUNGRY! LOL~...i am required 2 eat modified liquids first 7 days...and i'm not suppose 2 do the Protein Shakes until day 5 of surgery. i'm having trouble keeping up with the 64-80 ounces of liquids and vitamins! Its just sooo much! But i know its worth it in the end~! How is day 5 going 4 u?

I moved to a recliner as well! Extremely difficult getting in and out of bed....my belly button hurts! The gas has eased up a little bit...i am taking Mylanta. I got out the house 4 the first time 2day and totally overdid it. I went 2 three stores and by the third one, i was short breath and in so much pain! I am doing better...not great...but better... I also weighed myself 2day...and it looks like i'm down 12 pounds!

How can you tell if it is gas, food, restriction, or hunger?! LOL~ i'm so confused! i feel something i just dunno what it is!

Hey ladies! 24 hours post op 4 me!!! Only a few things...my left should is killin me!!! Doc said it was just gas but oh em gee!!! My port doesnt hurt but the incison thru my belly button hurts when i lay down or get up...i was given a local anethistic cream 4 my incisions but scared 2 touch or even look at them....(i have the binder on)....i was on a full liquid diet yesterday....now day 2 thru 7 i am allowed modified solids such as baby food and mash potatoes...i'm not really hungry so forcing down 2oz every meal seems so unreal! I am soo happy with this decision and journey! Just as soon as i can get past the poot in my arm and my belly button pain! LOL~ I am also a "freak out" when it comes 2 some textures...should definately be interesting. I'm also on prozac....u swallowed it whole? or opened up the tablets?

My left shoulder is killin me!!! what are u using 2 ease the pain? Doc said it was just gas.....didnt know poots could hurt so bad! LOL!

I have A LOT of gas pain in my arm! Its sooo uncomfortable! And it hurts when i get up! But while i'm laying down or sittin up i'm fine. Its my belly button that is soo sore! I was given a local anesthic cream but do scared 2 use it on my sores. 24 hours post op 4 me 2.

I'm getting banded 2morrow 2 and just as excited! i would suggest 2 go 2 the post op section...we can now finally cross over! LOL~

Me me me! my surgery is in 8 hours! i'm sooo excited...its finally here!

Tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...Right now i'm packing 4 my overnight stay...planning my last meal 4 the day (no pre-op diet 4 me)....and about 2 take a bunch of b4 pictures!!!

I freakin love it! The process has been soooo quick 4 me! I went 2 the consultation in April....had my psych-eval in May...insuranced approved me in June....my pre-op July 12...my surgery scheduled 4 July 22! i thought whoa!!! dont get me wrong...i am soooo ready but everything was just moving sooo fast...so i rescheduled it 4 August 9.... Just seems like everyone elses journey has taken a lot longer than mine! I havent been required a pre-op diet or anything....Sometimes i wonder if they skipped some steps! LOL!
