Oh man! Sorry 2 hear that! i would be taking all kinds of OTC meds! That pre-op testing alone is tragic! 2 even get a surgery date is hell and 2 reschedule it...oh no no no! LOL! Good luck 2 u! Keep us posted! Feel better soon...really soon! -

Me! But i'm going thru St. Vincent. However, 2 of my coworkers have been thru Clarian. One have completed her WLS as of last year and she said Clarian is the best and she'll do it all over again in a heartbeat. Another coworker of mine is currently going thru the process and she enjoys them 2. -
August 9th for me!!! I am concerned though...i havent been put on any diets??? i had my pre-op testing done 2day...which was the absolute worse!!! Anybody else out there not on a diet

How long did it take for insurance to approve you?

I was approved today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My paperwork was submitted 5.17.2010. I called my insurance on 5.26.2010 and she told me it was just sitting here because my surgeons office did not fill out something correctly. So I called my surgeons office 5.27.2010 so they can refax the information....so considering the holiday and the weekend....it took 3 days....yay me!!! Good luck 2 you! That was my biggest fear~ -

I too am so worried about getting approved. I also have Anthem BCBS PPO.....i have hypertension and depression....Today I go do my Psych test b4 they submit it to my insurance. I am a nervous freakin wreck! I just want a surgery date!
