after years of yo yo dieting and multiple attempts to lose weight through nutri system, diet pills, weight watchers, quick weight loss, atkins, etc.  I am at my highest weight ever with hypertension, sleep apnea, joint problems and depression.  Went to my first seminar tonight and will start the process rolling tomorrow.
Went through the process of the 3 month supervised diet, got my insurance approval, had my surgery date, started the pre-op diet and then found out that I had mono.  My surgery was cancelled and I spent a year recovering from mono before I could restart the process.  Luckily all my paperwork and psych eval, supervised diet, etc was good for 24 months so the office only had to let my insurance know and I just had to get a letter of clearance from my doctor.
Now I am 4 weeks post op and had my first fill yesterday.  Yesterday I had liquids all day and today I am on mushies.  Tomorrow i will be allowed to resume normal foods.
