Sorry about the misunderstanding.Hope you are doing well with your journey as I am just starting mine.
-
My intention was not to offend anyone. My intention was to get something off my chest in a place were I thought I would get constructive feedback and encouragement not offensive words.I give anyone who can loose weight in any way alot of credit. I think maybe you are a little sensitive. No one else took anything I said offensively.

I'am 5'6" and 130 is my goal weight -
after a lot of soul searching I have decided to go ahesd and get the lapband surgery.First I backed out then I was thinking where am I going to be in a year or five and I don't want to be bigger than I already am and then decideing that it's the right thing to do I don't want to set myself back that far.So I mailed off all the paperwork that they gave me at the seminar. And made an appt. with my pcp.I am ready to start my journey and do what ever it takes to succeed at it. Thanks for listening just had to tell someone who would understand all the doubts and fears then the revelation that my mind has went thru.

I went to the seminar on the 12th of may.Took hubby with me and every since then I been thinking that this all dpends on lifestyle change diet and exercise good eating habits and such if I can do that without the band then what do I need the band for to teach me not to over eat thats a easy one just stop when you are full I don't think this is the right time for me to get the band maybe if I fail at my new lifestyle change then I'll get the band I wish all of you who have decided to get banded the best good luck!

thank you for all the advice.I actually filled out the paperwork that they gave me and put it in the envelope but I have'nt mailed it yet.Maybe thats progress I'm still scared but more of me than of the surgery.

I was all set in my mind to have this surgery then I went to the seminar last night and everything changed now I'm scared and confused about wether its the right thing to do or not I have tried really hard in the past to lose weight and have but then I gain it all back and then some maybe I'm letting my fear get the best of me maybe i"m just scared about the surgery its self I don't know anymore everyone says its a decision I have to make on my own. Has anyone ever been in this position before?I'm still excited about the surgery but scared to death that i"m making the wrong decision.did anyone else go thru this?

you did not do it all for nothing your new insurance is gonna have you doing the same things that your old insurance had you do so if you have to submit all your paperwork again your approval should go pretty quick.Don't give up hope you have come to far for that it may take you a little longer but you will get there.First thing I would do is call your insurance company and see if they are gonna pay if not go ahead and submit all your paperwork to the new company. I wish you the best on your journey we are all here for you!!!!!! -
