four days postop and very bloated and gassy.....also have horrible right shoulder/neck pain....anyone else experience these symptoms and what did you do??

Is it just me or does anyone else feel unprepared for this life-changing surgery I am about to have? I have all of the paperwork stating what I should eat, when, etc...but I still feel like I am going into it blindfolded. Maybe it is just nerves???? Maybe I will learn as I go??? Maybe my dr. isn't being as informative as he should be??? AHHHHHHHH
