Well, what can I say that is different than all the others here? I am a mother of 7 kids (one at a time). I am an RN. I am obese. I want my life to change so I can feel better physically, emotionally, and be able to function in social situations comfortably. I am outgoing and friendly, but when I look in the mirror I do not recognise the stranger. I am not very likely to want to take this stranger with me to functions, so me and the stranger stay home and "veg". I have tried EVERY diet, but that is the problem they have not been life changes. I need help. My family is full of obese people and my mother and sister are anorexic. Food had never been healthy. it has been a source of comfort and joy. I want it to stop. I want my control back. Where do I begin? Here I hope. I welcome friends while I begin this journey. I wilk keep all updated on my successess and failures.  - Deb,
