I have been heavy all my life and since I was 15 I have been dieting and working out.  I had tried numerous fad diets and pills.  None had any long term effects and have always gained the weight back plus some.  The worst I ever felt was when I went to the fair with my daughter and couldnt fit in the ride.  I had the bar pinching my side the whole time and was so humiliated.  I decided then that I needed to do something. I unfortunaltey continued with the fad diets until my sister told me that she was going to do the lap band surgery with Dr. Michael Choi.  I saw how happy she was with the decision and have already seen her loose 20 pounds.  I am very proud of her and now want to be able to experience the same happiness and confidence in myself as she has developed.  So.....I went to my consultation at Strax Rejuvenation on 4/17 in the Lauderhill office.  Everyone in the office was wonderful.  Dr. Choi was to the point and knowledgeable.  I was able to get financing through them and have scheduled my surgery for May 28.  I am really excited about my future and look forward to writing and reading the entries on this site.  Stay tuned.......
