Hi Kathy. When I go in for a fill they always take out everything to see what the amount is than they put it back in and go from there. and I have gained 20.lbs. When they knew it was leaking they removedthe saline and replace it with omnipaque which I had to sign a release form. It than leaked and they had to remove it bc it not something you want in your body.

I was banded in May of 06 by Doc. Spiegel in Houston. Wanted to chat with anyone who is my time fram. My band is leaking and was wanting to know if any of you guys were told that this could happen. I was not. There are telling me its bc my band is old. You would think for 1500.00 is should last more than 4 years. -
