My story is a painful one for me. My best friend and I flew to another state to have the lap-band surgery. My friends surgery went very well. My surgery did not. The surgeon perforated my stomach during the surgery and had to abort the lap band procedure. The chances of this happening are less than 1%. I am here to see if maybe I can have a successful surgery at this point? It has been 4 years since this occured. The worst part is my friend passed out at the wheel on the way home from the airport and crossed the median, and went head on with a tractor trailor. I would have been in the car with her but my husband flew out to make sure I was ok after the perforation. My best friend is now a quadrapalegic. Will this story have a happy ending?
