I am so glad to hear you are doing better. It isn't easy, but we are all in this together. The gym is the best! I love the treadmill on the random setting - having the floor go up and down. It is fun. I would love try Zumba. My gym offers the classes - I'll have to check the schedule. Have a great 4th.

Well, how are you feeling? Make yourself get up and walk around, even if it is just around your home. I have a small condo, so I walked around my dining table and back and forth from the front door to the back sliding glass doors.
I just noticed your date of birth, which makes you about 2 months older than my son! My goodness I am old, but getting thinner!

How did your surgery go? Please remember to do as much walking as you can, sip, sip, sip and rest. You might want to try GasX - I didn't need it, but a lot of my other bandster buddies say it worked really well. Please let me know how you are doing. This was the greatest gift we could have given ourselves. Enjoy it, embrase it and live a long, healthy life.

Well, it has been 6 days since my surgery on the 21st. I feel wonderful. I was finally up to going to the gym today and did great. I walked 1.35 miles and did some upper body workout. When I stepped on the scale, the last time was the 18th, I almost fell over becuase I have lost 7 lbs 4 oz. I am just loving this band. First doctor's visit is coming on Tues. I am excited to see when he will want to do a fill. I start Mushy foods on Friday. I can't wait. How are you doing, your lucky dog?

Today was my first day back to the gym and I weighed myself. I almost fell off the scale when I saw a 7lb 4oz weight loss. Can you believe it? I know it will slow down and I will need a fill, but this is the biggest loss I ever had in a 10 day period. I go to the surgeon on Tues. for my first checkup. I know I am doing great - I feel wonderful. How did your fill work out for you?

You will do great. Keep walking and sipping your water to break of the gas after the surgery. Watch your diet and enjoy your journey. I am happier than I have been in years. This will be a great year for you so enjoy and keep us posted as to how your journey is going for you.

I wish you the best of luck tomorrow. Monday after my surger I was sore, mostly in the incision by the port through Tues. The gas was really the worst part, so walk, walk, walk and if you have a significant other ask them to massage the area that hurts. I walked back and forth in my condo, sipped my water and rested the first 2 days. It is wonderful. Good luck and keep in touch.

Thanks for your reply to my blog. I am going to check out the website you suggested for food recipes. My husband does most of the cooking, but I will forward him stuff I would love for him to try.
I returned to the gym today. My last visit was on the 18th, just before my surgery. Today I weighed myself and to my great happiness and surprise I found I lost 7lb 4 oz. OMG. Thanks again.
