I'm looking for a band buddy too. I have all the same pre-op diet questions. My surgery is scheduled for the 13th and had the opportunity to change to the 7th but my daughter's dance recital is that Sat and I dont wanna be sick. I have to start my diet on the 29th so this weekend I will enjoy a steak.

I'm scheduled for May 13th. I was doing Atkins with my sister-in-law to help her loose her last few pounds so she could have surgery when I got my call saying I had been approved. My vacation is June 5 so I scheduled surgery so I could be back on solid foods for that. I am excited. At first was nervous but am getting excited. Sis N law said to quit Atkins and enjoy my last few meals before i have to start my pre-op diet. Fried foods and steak are on my list. I will miss pizza since that is a family tradition on Friday nights but I can still eat hot wings I hope.

I am scheduled for surgery May 13, 2010 and am nervous and excited. My insurance approved after Dr. had a peer to peer review. I am approx 5'7 and 235, BMI 37, I am very borderline with health conditions to warrant surgery and wonder if anyone else can relate.
