Finally, after making the big move from my small hometown to Toronto, Ontario, in August 2009, I decided it was time to change my life around and get healthy. I have been overweight since the age of 9, and after trying every other diet/weight loss option on the planet, Lap Band surgery seemed like the greatest choice. My surgery is quickly coming up on April 26th.. I have now quit smoking (after being a pack a day smoker for 10 years), quit drinking, and cut out caffeine. Getting pretty nervous, but so excited to finally start over!
