    I need to stop smoking

I quit two years ago using a variety of nrt patches, gum and the inhalator. I used as much as I needed when I needed it. When socailizing I used the inhalator, I had a patch on all the time and I used gum when I felt the need. Gradually I cut down on it all but not before I was ready. I have quit twice this way. It is staying quit I have a problem with. Two years now though

    2 days since surgery

Hi I too was banded on the 18th, felt rough as an old boot all day yesterday, today feeling far less in pain and far more positive. Had some soup and a yoghurt. Went for a bit of a walk. Things are looking up. :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  6. Hi everyone. I am due to see my surgeon for my first consultation on the 3rd November. I am very excited. I am a bit worried though because at the moment my BMI is only 33.5 as I did manage to lose some weight at slimming world in a last ditch attempt at a diet. I hit a plateau. AGAIN Most of the weight has come back on. I am desparate to be accepted though. The surgeon I am going to see is Dr Marc Focquet. Has anyone else heard anything good bad or indifferent about him? Nice to meet you all
