Hi I'm Susan and I don't really know if I'm in the right forum but here it goes.  I haven't had surgery (yet) but I'm trying like hell to find a surgeon who will perform the surgery on me.  I'm not morbidly obese but I am obese.  I am 170 lbs and between 5' - 5'1.  I come up just short of the requirements.  Although some of you may not think I need surgery I do feel terrible and very uncomfortable.  My husband had the surgery 1 year ago and he looks and feels great and I want to feel great too.  2 years ago we adopted a baby and I feel like I can't even play with her without getting winded.  I'm tired all the time and my self esteem is at it's lowest.  If anyone has a similiar situation please point me in the right direction.  I'm about to go to Mexico and have it done but all my friends and family told me I was crazy.  I thought it was a crazy idea at first too but after not having  any luck what so ever with the doctors here in the US the idea is looking more attractive.
