I had my surgery on Monday and was having the same issue. as a matte of fact I just posted my own question. Finally I realized that I still had alot of gas build-up from the surgery and it was causing alot of discomfort. The only way to get rid of this is to walk, walk, walk. Just small walks at a time. Try the warm fluids.

I had he sleeve gastrectomy 3 days ago and this is the first day I am feeling half human. I am wondering if anyone else has been feeling the same way. Everytime I take a sip of clear liquid I feel like it begins to bubble around and push up. I feel like I need to burp and sometimes it is very uncomfortable and painful. Any Hints?:crying:
