I had surgery last May. I'm down 80 +-5 but I'm losing my focus. I'm eating all the wrong things, drinking alchohol, not exercising enough, really just falling into a bad pattern. I have not realyl gained any weight but haven't lost any over over the last 2 or 3 months. I just am really feeling poor and need someone to kick me in the right direction. (or in the ass for screwing up)!!! I need to get into the right pattern again and need some inspiration.

Yes, I had a 4cc fill during surgery. When I went for the unfill they took out 3cc. I got a 1.5cc fill when I went for my follow up visit. I now feel like I have a very little restriction. I am able to drink Water freely but eating solids is definately restricted.

When I woke up, I felt ok. I was in a little pain but told the recovery room nurse and she dosed me with something that took care of it quickly. After I got to my room I didn't have any other pain meds that day. I had a little bit of pain the next day. I think that was just from sleeping the wrong way. I took a little pain meds and that was the only time I took anything after I went home.

Well, I was banded on May 4 and had to have an unfill on the 10th. I was having trouble drinking or getting anything down. I went back today and had a fill and have lost 14 lbs since the 4th. I have now lost 50 lbs. That's since my first visit with my nutritionist on March 15. I'm so happy with myself. I just had to brag.

Hey everyone, I had my surgery on the 4th and have lost 10 lbs since. I had to go back to the hosp. yesterday for a unfill. I was having a really bad time getting Water or any Fluid down. It is usually difficult in the morning, but I was having a hard time all day. I was very dehydrated ad feeling pretty bad, but am a lot better now. I'm glad everyone is getting the pre-op diets and all of the other fun stuff out of the way so you can get to the weight loss. You will all be having the surgery soon and then the fun begins. The numbers start going down!!!!! :scared2::thumbup::cheers2: To the ones who have had surgery done already, it was all worth it, wasn't it?

I'm so sorry, that's disappointing. Now you have a new date to look forward to and hope for. Don't be too discouraged, It wasn't time and it didn't happen. It will come in 2 months and everything will be fine.

Surgery is done! I had mine yesterday at about 9 am and went home last night at about 1100 pm. Very little soreness. I'm glad the day finally came. Have been waiting for this day for a long time and now it has happened.

Where are you being banded? I'm in W-S and going to Baptist Hosp. and seeing Dr. Fernandez. My date is May 4 and am ready to go.

Hey Rachel, I'm getting ready to have my surgery on Tues the 4th of May at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. I'm glad to hear you are doing well.

I went for my last appt. before surgery today. They did blood work, EKG, anestesia consult, and other stuff. It's all done now. May 4 is just a few days away. I am planning on leaving the hospital the same day as surgery. There's just nothing like sleeping in your own bed!

I guess I'm one of the few men on here. I'm scheduled for May 4th. I'm in Winston Salem, NC and having Dr. Fernandez at Baptist Hospital do my surgery. Friday the 23rd of April is my pre-op date and final consult with the folks at the hospital before the big day.

I'm Jon and I have a surgery date set for May 4. I have been reading here a lot and decided to join and to introduce myself. Dr. Adolfo "Fuzz" Fernandez is my surgeon at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. I have been on a 4 week before my 21 day pre-op diet and have lost 20 lbs in 28 days! I look forward to recieving advice and help from folks here as I will need it.
