I am 23 years old, and reached a peak of 355lbs.  After much thought, and having seen both of my sisters undergo the surgery, I figured I could do it also.  I had my surgery on April 8, 2010 - started the liquid diet 2 days prior to surgery (as instructed).  I am still fairly new to it, so I do not have much insight, but be sure to eat your favorite meals before having the surgery.  More to come...
