I had lap band surgery on 19 March 2010, I have decided not to tell many people about my surgery to avoid the judgements of those who don't understand what its like to live with obesity and how hard weight loss is to achieve and how its even harder to maintain it.  So I'm glad to find a place where I can talk with other people who know what its like and are taking the same journey as me.
