I have struggled with weight loss since I was a teen. When I was younger and gained 20 pounds I lost it fast and maintained a healthy weight. When I got pregnant with my 1st of 3 children I gained about 70 pounds. I felt I'd never lose that much weight. When I finally got motivated and started to diet and exercise, I found I was pregnant a second time. I gained more weight. I went from 135-225 with 2 kids and felt overwhelmed. I decided to try Metabolic Weight Loss centers after losing 50 pounds on my own. I got down to 160 pounds. As soon as I stopped Metabolic because I could not afford it, I gained all the weight back. 6 years after my 2nd child, I had my 3rd. I was able toget back to 200 pounds, but then got divorced and started eating lots of quick food since I had little time for anything else. BOOM! I hit 260! Again, started yet another diet. This time I ate healthy and got back down to 168. Suddenly I was getting fevers and having severe back and hip pain. My doctor said I needed bed rest. I did Medifast for awhile, but as soon as I stopped exercising I gained a few pounds back. My aches, pains and fever got so bad I started missing work and being sent around to Specialists and eventually I lost my job. First I was told sero-negative lupus, then Fibro. I have been trying to get a diagnosis for 3 years. During the time I went up to my highest weight of 299! I could barely walk due to degenerative arthritis in my back and hips. I also developed high bp, cholesterol and my sugar was going up. I went for a seminar and asked my doctor to refer me for lap band. With all my medical issues, it was approved very fast. Right now I am disappointed in my weight loss. I had a large hiatal hernia repair. Preop I lost 12 pounds. I lost 5 more after surgery and now I am stuck. I am afraid my weight loss doctor will think I am not eating right, but I am. I barely eat at all. After reading these forums, i think I may not be eating enough. I have this ache in the center under my breasts that never goes away. As I drink and eat, it gets worse. So that's my story and now I am off to the forums for some answers! Thanks for reading!
