I just got banded yesterday and I'm not hurting, but i have some discomfort around my stomach, how long is that discomfort going to be there for?

I feel great today, no discomfort. That was fast lol. -
How are you holding up? My date was on July 12th, I feel a lot better now the first day i felt like someone punch me in my chest, just an uncomfortable feeling, it didn't hurt though, I just came from walking. When you walk it feels a heck of alot better.

I took my pain med before i went to sleep that day, but im not in pain at all, i had to crush up the pill in my pudding though because i only can have liquids, so right now im eating a popsicle, i havent been hungry, you will be fine

I am not in pain, but I feel uncomfortable like someone punch me in my stomach. I did take my pain pill just in case so I wouldn't be in pain the next morning. Im up now because I was drowsy earlier and went to sleep early so i'm up now. My incision by my navel was bleeding last night on my pillow and I had to wash my decor pillow really good, so I have extra bandages and I place it ontop so it wouldn't leak through my shirt again. My doctor told me to wait till late tomorrow evening to remove bandages and put peroxide on them. I been drinking EAS advantage chocolate protein shake it is delicious and I don't have a problem with it, I also have the Vanilla flavor haven't taste that yet though. I had sugar free jello and pudding, and Campbells chicken noodle soup without the chicken and noodles, i just drained it with the strainer and threw it away. My doc told me to make sure I walk, so I did walk for 15 min yesterday. Well thats my update.

Hey Mo, I had my surgery yesterday, I wasn't in pain it just felt uncomfortable sorta like someone just punched me in my chest. So I'm not in pain thank God. The procedure I remember was the doctor told me to breathe in the oxygen mask and I was out. I woke up in the recovery room. And I slept for 3 hours I was so tired. I slept all day yesterday but I did walk for 15 min. Today I walked for 15 min..im not hungry so i have to remind myself to eat. That's basically it. I can't wait until your surgery. Stay blessed!

I got approved for my surgery on July 12,2010. But Anyway, here is what I look like now. When I have my surgery I will post another album.

I agree with you, when I first made my decision I was going to keep it a secret, but I figure I am making a great decision. I see that you have lost a lot of weight from this and I have hopes. To my surprise though all my friends and family supported me, but some did have some concerns and I answered all their questions and they feel safe about my decision.

I have to be there at 5:30 am and my surgery is around the same time as yours 7:15..that's cool, just think, we will be getting banded at the same time!

I feel the same way I always been heavy since 5th grade...weird..I wonder what I would look like -
My doctor didn't give me a liquid diet, I was surprised I thought he would. He said I just can't eat after midnight before the day of surgery.
