Hi Everyone, I was banded on April 28th and yup i'm still bloated, hicupping and have that terrible pain in my chest when I drink water too fast! Heck at least I know for sure now that this is normal!! I do have a weird taste in my mouth though (prob from the protein shakes) and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? I have been brushing my teeth alot and sometimes a sugar free mints helps. Thanks!! -
Hi Bostonmamma just wanted to see how you were coping with the recovery...i think today is the first day that i feel normal..the surgery really thru me for a loop for a few days!! Hope your feeling good!!

I was banded on the 28th and I have to admit it did knock me out the first few days, between the gas pain and shoulder pain, but today I actually feel i'm almost back to normal!! started protein shakes today and they aren't as bad as I thought, and I lost 5 lbs so far (14 including 2 wk pre op diet)...its so nice to have support from u guys!! :0) -
I was banded this past Wednesday...is anyone having these "burping" sensations?? and hiccupping alot? And my "girdle" thing is very uncomfortable...not to mention that its 85 degrees where I am and i have to wear these tights to prevent blot clots...phew!! anyone else have to do these things??? Just curious...still happy that I made this decision :0)

My date is April 28th, i'm really excited and ready to go! On day 11 on the South Beach diet (not sure why they didn't put me on the liquid diet), a little crabby without carbs and stuff but it will be worth it!! Hang in there everyone!! -
thanks Kerbear! I am getting excited and nervous for next wednesday....we can be "bandit buddies"....I am thinking of naming my band...."raul?".....LOL...When Raul is not cooperating, i can blame it on him!

Hi! I was reading some one of your posts that described what you went through to get your surgery date,,,i did the same thing and we have the same surgery date April 28th! I wish you the best!!
