In November of 2008 I had my Lapband surgery weighing 235, I successfully lost over 60lbs.  Not too bad, then I started to have some issues, it all started with a sausage I ate one day that made me vomit like never before, and ever since that day, I had issues after issues.  I was ok while my fill was done and after the next few days while on liquids but as soon as it was time to eat some real food, that was it, the pain started and it was a dreadful stabbing pain in my stomach.  My original surgeon has left and moved away, and I was referred to another one who seems to think that since I have had this issue my band needs to come out and I have a 50/50 chance that I will be able to get a band replacement.  I am confused and concerned!!! i still want to loose another 35-45 lbs.  I am not so concerned on the number of the scale as much as getting the additional lbs off and becoming healthy and thin, I am so scared.  I have come so far and in reality the latter part of my weight loss has all been me, I have made so many drastic changes to my life as far as my eating and going to the gym, but I have used the band as a security and I do not know what to do... I hate the not knowing feeling, I will not know until I wake up if I have a new band or nothing...Will I still be able to loose the last lbs?
