I really don't know what to say. I had tried everything under the sun to lose weight. Nothing work, I might lose 15 to 20 pounds then gain 40 back. I went from eat sensable meal with out fried foods or red meats to buying organics and looking at what was in my foods. Then not eating out at fast foods or buying processed foods no MSG's, went from frying to baking to boiling my foods. I did this for 2 years and only lost about 30 pounds and this was with walking 7 days a week 3 to 4 miles. I had went from 380 to about 350. That was it I was so tried of trying and not losing but a little. I had decided February 2009 that I was going to try the lap band. What I didn't know is that insurance would put so much on trying to get it. I had to switch insurance and the insurance I have now covers the lap band. My cousin referred me to Dr. Waggoner in Houston, Texas and he was wonderful. They did everything whatever I needed help with their office was a phone call a way. I Went though the process of be able to get my surgery with see the nutritionist, my doctor, lab work and approval from the psychologist. I hated having to do the liquid diet before surgery, but I did by surgery time I had lost 20 pounds. Surgery was March 25, 2010. I was doing fine somewhat but I had to go back to the hospital I was having some minor issues. I was I've  been out of the hospital for 1 day now I feel better now. I am just at the beginning stage. I have high hopes. Thanks
