Hi my name is Jennifer, I have been researching this surgery for about 3 years and have finally decided to go through with it. I am really excited and at the same time very nervous. I weigh 270 lbs. this is the heaviest I have ever been in my whole life. I am tired all the time and have no desire to look at myself in the mirror I find myself to be very gross and I have never felt bad about myself, however after saying that I have been on the lap band diet for about 3 weeks and have lost 7lbs so far. I am very excited about this surgery and about this lifestyle change that I have begun and that I will be able to be healthy with and for my girls. One of whom is beginning to get heavy herself and she is doing he diet with me and I' proud to say that she has lost 5 lbs so we are ont he right track to be a success story!
