Has anyone done the 5 day pouch thing here and if so did it work for you? I have got very slack in my weight loss journey and need a kick start.

Has anyone taken probiotics with the lap band? If you have, how did it affect the band?

I was told the same thing/ and or gain at least 250 lbs. I said that ain't gonna happen if I could help it. I also have Fed, BC/BS standard. I have not really been satisfied with the band. Either to tight or not not tight enough. Have never been at the so called "sweet spot". Have been banded since 2008.

I'm right there with u. Can't get it together to save my life!

U do not want to fly or have to ride a lot with a new fill. When we flew out to Vegas from N.C. Btw is a very long flight... I had some taken out because u get tighter when u sit a long time. Hope u have a great vacation and God bless.

I've been banded now come December 18, 4 years and I have not taken my band seriously. It's been a yoyo for me. Had fills ...to tight! unfill... to loose! Put a little bit in at a time and still not right!! I'm tired...just plain tired. I realized hey; IM THE ONE THATS GOT TO MAKE THIS WORK!!! Ihave open my eyes to a lot of thigs just this week. So anyway, here goes; 1. I joined a gym today. 2. Bought some high protein stuff. 3. And today...I take my life back and get REAL!!!! Ali

Hi J. I also had my lap band surgery done at Southern Surgical. Dr. Naziri did mine Dec. 18, 2008. They are absolutly the best. I love everyone there from the ones who check you in, right on down to every nurse. I am so glad I chose that group of Doctors to do my surgery. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I have federal bcbs of N.C. and I was approved pretty quickly.
