I start my pre op diet on 21st April for my op on 5th May. I asked my dietician about Optislim vs Optifast and she said the OF was the recommended one. I told her that I could buy 2 boxes of OS for $55 and she said go for it- it didn't really matter too much. It's only to slim down the liver so that the op can go ahead. Well I'm going to buy the OS anyway! Optifast is American where Optislim is Australian.:thumbup:

That's great news Melissa- my date is also 5th May! Saw the dietician today and having all the blood tests done tomorrow. It's now 8.21 pm here in Wollongong and very soon it's no more past the lips till tomorrow morning! Good luck- and keep posting! Marianne:thumbup: -

Hi there- my name is Marianne, I live in Wollongong and I'm scheduled for surgery on 5th May. I've enjoyed reading your posts and hope that I can join in and learn from you all. I'm seeing the dietician this morning so will probably be starting the Optifast this weekend.:thumbup:

What's a Wollongong? LOL- it's where I live! About an hour south of Sydney in Australia, on the east coast. :mad::sad: Had a visit with the dietician this morning and I'm ready to go! Roll on 5th May.:thumbup:
