ughhhhh. I feel your pain. For some weird reason (maybe dry?) I can't eat chicken well no matter how well I chew and wait! Try liquids tomorrow and give your pouch a rest and see if that helps. It will get better :-).

We all have mood swings -- age, sex, band status notwithstanding. Take a walk, swim, watch a movie. Do something that makes you feel good. We love you! Tomorrow will be better.............

Do Good Anyway!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!
sandradee0124 commented on janetsjourneytoslim's blog entry in Blog 75574
Yep! Do good out of your heart, IN SPITE of what others think or say...... -
Wow that is a lot. But how can you say too much? If you are following your surgeon's plan it is what it is. If you are on liquids and you eat grilled food you might stress that tummy around the band and that is definitely NOT worth it. I would recommend you make sure you have had your protein shake before the bbq and bring some tasty flavored water for during so you won't feel deprived or left out. Have a wonderful weekend!!!!!!

Recipe Of The Day! 1-2-3 Grilled Tusan Pizza
sandradee0124 commented on Debra G's blog entry in Blog 93702
I'm ready for lunch! Thank you Debra! Have a safe, enjoyable weekend! -
You are doing fantastic, congratulations! I want to take lessons in your class! That would be fantastic exercise. I've lost my gym motivation, and I'm only 3 months out. Somehow we have to find a little, somewhere, somehow and build on it. With working 60 hours a week its tough, I know!

Somebody posted this on my blog the other day "ignore the haters". True. People make ill-advised, poorly researched comments that sometimes are intended to hurt and sometimes not. We have to learn to rise above them. I keep trying! I'll keep helping you :-)

How many calories per day per meal??
sandradee0124 commented on Supercutiebanded's blog entry in Blog 100484
Although it seems each surgeon is slightly different, about 1000 calories a day seems to be a norm. High protein, low fat and carbs. My nutritionist says fill a small dinner plate: 1/3 protein, 1/3 veggies and 1/3 carbs or more protein. It should be about 1 Cup of food and it should fill you up for 3-4 hours. -
What NOT to do during your first fill!
sandradee0124 commented on Seanamw's blog entry in Blog 97014
I've had two and I had to be told it was starting and over. I have a harder time in traffic driving to the surgeon than I do with fills. LOL @ fool -- waxing hurts more. I'm glad you are going back. An idea? Try deep belly breathing if you find yourself getting stressed. Seems to relax things a bit? Hugs!!!!! -
I have an AMA webinar tomorrow. I feel your pain. On a brighter, MUCH BRIGHTER note 11.25"???? That is phenomental! My new word. I am so glad you didn't just look at a number on the scale and chose to look at the "whole package". You have lost SO MUCH WEIGHT!!! Congratulations on your fantastic success!

So adorable! And congratulations on being in Wonderland! Someday I'll see you there, and we'll have a tea party :-). So proud of you!!!
-
Hey, enjoy it, and congratulations! I love seeing the numbers go down even if I know 1 or 2 will come back. Realistically it won't be more than that.

CONGRATULATIONS! Amazing what a little saline can do, isn't it? My new theory is its the fill and what your mind does with the band/fill. I think you are doing great; keep it up!!!

Your pictures are phenomenal. Keep us updated on the consults! I have to say you tuck well -- would never know there was skin there. Bring on the speedo :-) -
You have overcome a lot to get here. I wish you all the best on your tests and results. My tennis shoes got too big -- agree with marw. Is it possible they are rubbing? You are doing so fantastic; keep the faith :-).

My daughter's visit went very well, although I was sad to see her leave. My house is so quiet without her! We really had a great weekend. Of course it started great when she walked down the stairs from the airplane gates crying "Oh mommy you look so great!". We didn't dwell on the surgery or anything food related all weekend although she noted a couple times how much more energy I have. We walked over 6 miles on Friday shopping for her. She was buying new clothes for our trip to Aruba for Christmas. I didn't buy much because I've been debating what size to buy. We ate organic and sashimi on Friday. Saturday I had family over and I really couldn't eat much as I was stressing over company and hostessing. Sunday we did church and I made a big brunch for everybody and I ate a little. We also managed to go to the gym twice as well. All in all I did well on the plan and lost 4 lbs since Thursday. I was a little disappointed in my cousin's reactions -- one actually said "you were so fat at Christmas I'm glad you are doing something about it". OK, backhanded compliment? Maybe. Back to work and a busy week. The hell I've been through with my product line over the last 8 months is almost over and I'll be swamped until after the first of the year. This is great for me in many ways and I'm grateful for that. There will still be drama and politics but I'll be too busy to worry about them. Thank you to all for your well wishes. I love my daughter dearly and I appreciate hers (and yours) support immensely

Virtual foot coming at you......... Try something different -- a new recipe AND some new exercise. Turkey tacos. Water aerobics. I have read where just kicking in something different into the equation was enough. Best of luck!

what am I doing wrong stopped losing was banded in April
sandradee0124 commented on clittle's blog entry in Blog 91731
You have done fantastic! I know one of the hardest things we deal with as bandsters is resisting comparison between ourselves and others (friends, bloggers, forums, patients). It is hard to do. Struggling with this sometimes drives my moods. I've tried to overcome this by trying not to check out everyone's surgery date when they say how much weight they've lost and instead focus on ways they did it. The other big thing is to think about where you were in March. Look at a picture. Try on a pair of pants that were tight back then. You are doing so well! Stop and congratulate yourself for YOUR success :-). -
Oh my! So much work and stress and you are doing so well! Congratulations on the new grandbaby and best wishes to the family! Keep up the great work -- you will make it!
-
I'm sorry you are frustrated. It really seems like every surgeon has their own processes, procedures and rules and its hard to understand what works for you. I hope things go better!
-
Congratulations on your fantastic news! I agree with you totally about the energy. Pray on the children item; those things will happen. I've read many blogs on here from women having kids. Best of luck to you in your health and wellness :-). Take care!

Thank you for your advice! I'll check it out this weekend. I've been kind of holding back to see if I need it and have been ok so far, but I'd sure like to wear one for a couple days and see especially where my metabolism really is! I'm packing for the gym and wearing new 16s -- hope they fit! Too far from home to go back lol.
