Hi Ms. Determined, All I did was follow my doctor's orders.... 3 days of pre-op clear liquid diet, 2 weeks of post op liquid diet and I'm now on 2 weeks of soft solids. The weight just fell off. Good Luck with your surgery.

Hi everyone, My name is Shawna and I had my lap band surgery on March 9, 2010. I'm so excited to start this new chapter in my life and I'm looking forward to sharing it with everyone. I am scheduled for my first fill on April 22nd. So far I am down 24 lbs. The pants are already getting baggy. What a great feeling. If anyone has any secrets they would like to share about their 1st fill, I sure would like to hear them. I'm glad to be part of this group. Shawna
