[font=comic sans ms,cursive]Hi all, I first made a WLS decision back in 2007 and had a lapband done. [i](no, it wasn't from those goofy commercials)[/i] I lost 60 lbs. and then began having issues with it being too tight (then turning into reflux) and fast forward through the rollercoaster of changing insurances providers over the years and now (2013) I finally was able to talk with a new bariatric surgeon regarding my situation. My starting weight this time was 218. They did a scope and told me to have the band removed. Because it had failed me, I was eligible to have a revision surgery....so I chose VS. I love it and am not looking back!![/font]
