    Curves

My gym has a curves type circuit. Im going to try it tonight. Im gonna go kick my butt there. However, Im also tacking it onto my everyday workout 30-45 on the elliptical. Maybe you could try the same thing. Also there is no rule (I dont think) that says you can only do 30 mins of the circuit. I thought part of its awesomeness was that it is customizable. You could add another half of the circuit to your current workout. Dibaby is right, if it is working for you and you are still losing weight keep on keeping on.

    The Sweetheart Goal!

I think Id die without any veggies or fruit anythings for 2 weeks. But I do like the idea of mini and concurrent challenges. In fact after the no carb challenge Im going Veggie until Feb 19th. The only reason its not vegan is because of Bandster Protein needs and I couldnt live without eggs. How this came about: Thursday I was at the Union Square Whole Foods Market Cafe enjoying a yummy crab nori roll where I met this NYU Prof who challenged me and my friend to become Veggies for 3 weeks. Its a pretty long story how the conversation started and progressed but I was convinced I should try it and that he wasnt a lecturing me on being fat and eating right. I already eat only poultry and fish plus Im lactose intolerant (with a few exceptions) so I figured I was halfway there.

    The Sweetheart Goal!

Thanks for the peptalk I really need it right now. I think I may try the no carb challenge as a jump start. My prob isnt really bread and stuff its Cookies and cakes. We've had both here this week, and I did partake. Cookies are my absolute enemy. chocolate snaps is the name of one of my favorite cookies. It was also that TOM during which the cravings get horrible and I slacked on the exercise. It also takes way more than a 1/2 cup to satisfy me esp at night. I really want to fight it out before I call for a fill. I want to have the bad eating under control before I get a fill and stretch my pouch, or PB (never have), or erode. Its the head work. Its hard but Im up to the fight. Just typing this has made me realize how much work I havent done this week. Like I said before Im back on plan right now. Thanx ladies!

    Wanna talk about clothes????

Which part is your biggest problem? Bottoms or tops? Since you are going to Old Navy, one of the best things they have ever done was to start making different rises. The jeans that look best on everyone are the dark denim classic rise "Sweetheart" and the dark denim mid rise "Sweetheart". Pair those with a wrap-top (NewportNews has a nice 3/4 length tee version) in your favorite color and that makes a KILLER casual look. *The wrap camouflages the belly and accentuates the bust and curvy waist. The mid/classic rise holds in the belly. I agree with having a tailored look. Too tight is just as bad as too loose. If you cant tell, Im a serious clothes-whore. One of my fav hobbies is styling people. It came from living vicariously through skinny friends and relatives and being a hopeless perfectionist.

    Wanna talk about clothes????

I think it depends on how you want to look, in so far as style. But the best thing for "deflated" is a really good shaping undergarment. They make all the difference in how clothes fit and how you look in them. Always keep in mind your body shape. If you dont know Igig.com has a really good group of shapes to figure out from. Im a figure 8. For batwings, I would go with 3/4 length sleeves. I would NEVER suggest any kind of shrug, I think they look crazy like youre trying to hide something. I know you are trying to hide something but you never want to look like you are. It makes people curious, like a bad lie. Im 292 and I am wearing a 22/24 bottom and 18/20 top (I also go by LB sizes). I really look at the fit of my clothes as opposed to the size. I always go with fitted never loose, unless that is the way the garment is supposed to fit (even then only blouses). Length is a HUGE problem right now, if a store doesnt go Tall enough (ie 35-36 inseam) Im screwed but once I get down to a size 16 I can shop at JCrew and Gap Talls.

    The Sweetheart Goal!

I have a HealthOmeter something or other. I bought it at target over 2 years ago for about $20 on sale. Its pretty accurate (I think) it usually comes close to the same readings as my Surgeon's scale. And is always the same as the scale in the WLS research lab (Im a part of a study). However the last time I was at the surgeon's there was a huge difference. But Im inclined to believe my home scale because is has always matched the readings of the research Lab's scale, which HAS to be accurate for the purposes of the study.
