After losing my father last year I realized it was time to lose the weight and get myself healthy. Unhealthy family histories on both sides made me realize I want to live as long as I can. I started my journey in October 2009 and we couldn't get surgery scheduled before my NEW insurance kicked in so we had to start over in January. I was approved after the first attempt and surgery schedule for 3/18/10. I am determined to finally lose this weight by changing my horrible eating habits and exercising. I realize the band is only a tool and have committed to changing my life!
