    I have only told a few close friends and my mother. I have enough self doubt with out everyone knowing. In a little while, when I feel more confident in myself, I will then start telling other people.

    I remember seeing this on Aussie TV about a month ago. I had not long been out of hospital from the banding. I couldn't believe some one would do that to themselves, especially after what I had just gone through myself so that I could help get rid of my excess weight. I just hope she wakes up to herself soon and doesn't end up killing herself.

    No lost this week. I had my first fill last Thursday, it has helped a bit, but not as much as I thought it would. I just have to be strong and stick to a decent food plan.

    Hey Everyone, My start weight for this challenge is 308 which will have me down to 298 by Mother's Day. Best of luck to us all.

    I was banded a couple of weeks ago and would love to start on the Mother's Day Challenge. Not sure what I should be aiming for as I have yet to have a fill (sceduled in a few weeks and have just started the mushie stage) so I think I'll set it for 10 pounds to start with and see how I go. I am new to the pound system so hopefully I don't get it all messed up.
