I also have a question...... do yall have a sign that you are full? I get the hiccups. It's really embarrassing in a resturant. People stare. lol Had one little ole lady give me a dirty look yesterday after church. There I sat with a big ole salad with a real bad case of hiccups and she Glared at me! I just smiled between hiccups and kinda giggled under my breath. Kinda reminded me of, well, I better not say. lol

Good, Lynn..... bring Mr. Turtle with you. lol That way, I can tease him too. I guess you have figured out that I like to tease. lol If you can't laugh once in a while, life ain't no fun. Well, I think I am in the sweet spot/green zone. I can't eat but a couple of bites at a time now. I just hope I can lose without going into starvation mode again. Julie, hang in there, k? Just use that picture as motivation, not something to be depressed about. Then next year, you can look at it and be proud of all that you have accomplished. Don't look at the negative. Look at the positive side. You will be able to do this, I promise.

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone had a great weekend. It was so pretty, we stayed out as much as possible. Didn't do a lot, but, we were outside. I can tell I have restriction.....again. Cool. Hope it lasts the entire six weeks. Maybe, I can get 10 pounds this time. That would be awesome. I don't have a lot of news this morning. We lost the game Saturday to Antlers. Going to Broken Bow this weekend. If anyone lives close, come see me. We have to be at the stadium at 4:30. Game time is 5:30 pm. I be the Mommy with a 12 on her back. Yes, we have "Mommy shirts". Of course we have to support our team. lol Doesn't ALL Moms ? There are a bunch of us, just look for a lot of black T-shirts. We travel in packs. lol Yall have a good day. House cleaning day.

Morning everyone. How's everyone this morning? Susan, it's friday!!! Yeah! And homecoming at Rivercrest tonite. I wish yall could have seen my little football player get out of the car this morning with his football jersey on. He was floating about 2" off the ground. (big man on campus) Go Rebels!!! Hey Teresa, the papaya enzyme is supposed to help with digestion. It also helps you when you get stuck. You are a long way from that yet, but I got mine at GNC. 90 chewable tablets for 2.99. You can get them at any health food store. I don't think that it's an item you can get at Wal Mart. Haven't looked yet. You know you can't get down that isle with all the senior citizens shopping. lol Got lots to do today, I doubt if it gets done. I'm on strike today. lol Yall have a good day!

Teresa, use the crystal lite, To Go packets. That's how I get my water in. They have very little calories in them and it makes it so much easier to drink now. Since you can have mushies, scrambled eggs (soft) with a LITTLE cheese is great. Refried beans, and all the above Sugarbear listed are great. If you have one of those little food choppers, use it.....Let there be mushies! lol The possibilities are endless. And get on that bike, who cares what other people think. Get one of those Granny seats, they're wider. Get on that sucker and go. I did. I ride with my seven year old and we have a blast! So what if I hang off! lol If they dont like what they see (My grand dad used to say this) "They can just look at the sun!" lol The more exercise you get, the better you are gonna feel. Yes the sore spot you are talking about is your port. Later you will be able to feel it better. You might be able to now. Mine is starting to poke out just a bit. Kinda looks gross, but no one sees it but me and my man. Don't let others deprive you from doing stuff you want to do. If you can do it, go for it. Is that enough determination, Sugarbear?? Shall I go on?

Determination!!! When I got hungry, I drank my water. Since you don't have anything in your band, your stomach hasn't changed much and you can drink a little faster. Also, I got up and did something. Took a walk, pulled weeds, just anything to keep youself busy for a while. Do something that takes two hands, or something that makes it impossible to eat while you are doing it. (not the computer. lol) Just stay busy. Some people mistake thirst for hunger. Soon you will be able to tell the difference. Just don't give up. It will happen, I promise. My loss has been slow, but I am determined to see it thru no matter what and you can too. Just don't get too down on yourself. Speaking of which...... I just thought of something. Have yall thought about what you are gonna do AFTER you get to goal? My goal and Dr. H's goal is about 11 pounds apart. I want to be that much thinner, but what am I gonna do after I get there? (Besides go on a shopping spree) Haven't thought about it until yesterday. lol I guess we will find out when I get there, huh? hmmmmmmm Yall have a good day!

Glo, mine is the same day, but at 9:45 am. That way, I don't have to rush. I use the interstate. I hate being late for anything. Not cool! Sharon, I saw Mrs. Betty this morning, but I don't know if she stayed all day. Hey THJ, I was wondering bout you. Glad you posted. Great weight loss. Keep it goin, you will be skinny before you know it. lol And just so you will know, you are in what some people call "bandster hell". No restriction. Just hang in there, it might take a few fills to get to your "spot". But don't wreck it now, stay with your diet and drink lots of water. That will help "drain" the fat cells. Talk to yall tomorrow! Sleep tight!

Glo, I didn't get there until 8:55 am. I do not like to cut it that short. Kinda like to be there a little early. Sometimes, they can get you in a little earlier. I guess we passed each other on the road. lol Hi Betty...... how are you? Sugarbear, did you try to post again?

I don't know Sugarbear. I'll study on it for a few minutes. Glad to see you posting. Hope you are feeling better this morning. I want yall to know.... I lost NINE pounds this six weeks. Officially!!!!!! Yay Me!!!! Still can't move that stupid ticker. BUT I got a small fill this morning and I just know that is gonna do it. THAT is confidence! lol Glo..... how did you do? Are you ok? I guess you were long gone when I got there. I will never make another appointment at 9am again. Too much rushing around. The office wasn't torn to smithereens and everyone seemed calm enough, so I take it you did ok. lol Sugarbear, I just went to the site and it wouldn't take my password either. I just clicked on the sign up box and made a new account with all the same stuff and it worked. Try it, but be sure to write your password and stuff down somewhere.

Sugarbear.... If I can help..... send me a mail or something, k? Man, that's MY kind of luck. I really hate it for you. It probably would have made me more than just queasy to look at it. I think I might have lost it. Weren't you supposed to have an appointment at Dr. K's office today? I reckon, they might let you out of exercising now. Boy, some people will do anything to get out of exercise. lol You hang in there, like I said before, I have added you to the prayer list. Shannon...... Way to go on the dress thing. What a moral boost! That is cool. Well, I have an appointment in the morning. 9 AM, Glo. Don't know if I can get there sooner, but I will try if you need me too. Try not to think about the stick. I have said it before, if you stress out and get tense, it makes it harder for the needle to penetrate the skin and therefore makes it hurt more. Just try to relax and think about something else. I know it's easier said than done, but you can do it. Teresa, instead of broth, I used the soup from chicken noodle soup. NO chunks or noodles. It's a lot better than just broth. I hated it too. You can always have another SLIME FAST! lol My little guy's team lost the game Saturday evening. Poor things looked like a bunch of little chickens with their heads off. I sure hope they are better equipped to handle the crowd and stuff this Saturday. Tanner did really well in his positions, but he was a little starry eyed and confused. Yall have a good day!

Shannon, I would think you are there. But, Mrs. Betty has been telling us that we should be getting 1oz. meat and the rest veggies. And she always tells us not to challenge the band. Try to eat the least you can get away with and be satisified, rather than eating until the band is challenged. I know you aren't eating up to that point, if all you can eat is 3 or 4 bites. I would talk to them about it. I think I am close to being at my 'spot'. But, I think I might ask for another tweak Tuesday. Oh, and congrads on the pin. Yes mamm, Ms. Glo. I promise to behave. Go, Shannon, go!!! Hurray for size red 6!!!!!! I agree about the life altering decision thing. You have to be commited to the band for life. You have to be determined to make it work for you thru hard times and good. You have to have your head set BEFORE you get the band to make it work. COMMITMENT, in a nutshell. And if you make a mistake one day, just start over the next. Everyone goofs up. Just don't beat yourself up over it. Start over tomorrow. I had a hard time with that in the beginning. But I have learned to accept it.

Hi everyone! Susan, how's the knee? Have you gone to the dr.? Sounds like we might need to amputate. I have a big ole cedar tree that we need to cut down, might make a good wooden leg. ARGGGGG!! lol Sorry. Really, are you doing ok? Julie, my only regret is I wish I had my band when I was younger. I yo-yo dieted all my adult life. Your daughter would learn to adjust as we all have. I don't know at the church meetings that I have gone to since I got my band. And you know how they are...... good food everywhere. You just have to be strong willed. I think it's ok to have a taste now and then just don't eat the whole thing! lol Yall have a good day!

Julie, To get your ticker, do this..... 1. open two windows, one to this site. go to your user CP (look up at the top of this page in the blue bar. click on user cp) Then, edit signature. Leave this window at that spot and open the other window. 2. You can use any ticker site you want. I think most of us use tickerfactory.com. Follow the steps to make your ticker. 3. RIGHT CLICK ON THE PICTURE OF THE TICKER AND "COPY". 4. go back to the other window and "PASTE" the picture in the signature block. and then SAVE CHANGES at the bottom of the screen. That should do it. Be patient after you post the first time after making your ticker, it takes a second for it to attach. Hope this helps. I am having no problem getting my Protein in at this point. You just have to make good food choices. You will get the hang of it, just you wait and see.
