Hi Guys, How are you all doing? I just got this nasty cough. What can I take? I don't want to take lozenges, I may swallow them..... I'm trying very hard to cough shallow, but it really hurts... Any ideas? Thanks. doriana

Hello, Today is my first day back at work. This morning I woke up with bad, I mean bad pain on my left side. Feels very weird, so I called the TLBC and she told me that if they were able to fix my hital hernia, this may be the reason for the pain. I guess it's not even a week yet. I just hope nothing is wrong with the band. I'm able to drink lots, but it's just the pain now. Everything else is good..... Has anyone here had thier hernia done at the same time and felt like this? If I did have band problems this early, what other symptoms would I have? I will see the nurse tomorrow, so hopefully she could shed some light. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Doriana

Good Morning, It's 7:00am, and I have to be down at the TLBC for 11:30...surgery is for 12:30pm.... I could not sleep all night long just thinking "what if".......I know everything will go well.....I'm so excited about my new life.... As soon as I get home, I'll let you all know..... Hello, It's only 4 days post and I'm feeling better each day, still alot of pain in the stomach area, but I guess that's normal. For those of you who have had this done at TLBC, is there ANYTHING else we could add to in the liquid Phase diet. I'm starving!!!! Also for the full liquid phase, what kinds of Nutrional supplments are good, low fat, high Protein, low carb...and specific kinds?? Thank you and have a great night. Doriana

I slept a bit more last night, but still very tired. this morning I took only 4 chewable tylenols, so I'll see how that goes. I got some popsicles, the regular ones. I will check in later. Hello, Thank you all for your support. It means so much to me... I'm feeling okay right now. I got my hubby to get my the junior strength Tylenol... I'm taking 4 of them. Is this enough or do I require more? I had some broth today, tried the isopro chocolate Protein drink mixed with Water. It was okay...Not that bad. I'M HOME.... Sorry guys, I wanted to let you know yesterday when I got home, but the demerol knocked me right out. I just wanted to sleep... Surgery went well, but they were almost not going to do it because when the nurse weighed me and took my vitals, she said I had a slight fever??? Well, I felt fine, I just told her that could be because I'm getting my period any day now and normally it's just hormonal. So, the doctors came in and said I was GOOD TO GO!!! As usually, I don't react very well to the "anestegia" (sp?).... I get the tremors afterwards very badly....But it soon wore off... I had alot of pain last night, but continued my tylenol (crushed) tasts so BAD!!! I know theere is a chewable one out there, but I just can't find it. How soon do I start taking my Vitamins??? Should I wait a few days? Right now I have some crushing gas pain in my chest cavity.. I guess this is normal...My mom is coming over this morning to help me...Thank God!! Hello, Just wondering if any of you have tried this type of Protein drink? They say I could have it on my first week of post??? What does it taste like? Where could I buy it? I'm just afraid once I"m on the 1st week of clear fluids, I may not be getting enough protein in???? What kind of multi Vitamins could I buy? Where could I find liquid adult tylenol???
