I WAS ALWAYS TIRED OF MY WEIGH. BACK PROBLEMS AND WORKING STANDING UP FOR 8 HOURS DAILY DIDN'T EXACTLY HELP AT ALL SO I DECIDED TO HAVE MY SURGERY DONE. ALL THE PAPERS WITH THE INSURANCE WAS DONE IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS BECAUSE OF COURSE THEY WERE GIVING ME A HARD TIME FOR APPROVAL AND AFTER GOING BACK AND FORTH WITH THEM FINALLY I WAS APPROVED 3 DAYS BEFORE MY INSURANCE WOULD EXPIRE. I WENT IN SURGERY MARCH 31, 2010 STARTING 330 POUNDS. THE FIRST 2 WEEKS WERE UNBELIEVABLE. DRANK 2 SPOONS OF LIQUID SOUP AND FELT FULL, 3 DRINKS OF DIET LIQUIDS AND THAT WAS ENOUGH AFTER 3 TO 4 WEEKS STARTED WITH MUSHY FOODS AND THEN SOLID.AFTER 1 YEAR EXACTLY FROM MY SURGEY I'VE LOST 54 POUNDS WHICH I AM HAPPY ABOUT BUT I'M STUCK IN THAT WEIGHT FOR OVER 3 MONTHS ALREADY. I'VE GONE DOWN FROM A SIZE 26 ON PANTS TO A 22 PANTS AND FROM A SIZE 4XL TO A SIZE 2 XL ON BLOUSES. I DON'T WANT TO BE STUCK ON THAT WEIGHT. I HAVE TO GO DOWN MORE.I SOMETIMES HAVE PROBLEMS TO HOLD DOWN FOODS. BREAD I CAN NOT HAVE, PIZZA CRUST, MOZZARELLA CHEESE, POTATOE, THICK NOODLES. CHICKEN GOES DOWN FINE IF IT'S IN SOUP, IF IT'S IN A STEW I WILL HAVE PROBLEMS AND RUSH TO THE BATHROOM. MY FAVORITE... EGGS, BUT IT HAS TO BE POUCHED. IF I HAVE IT SCRAMBLED I WILL HAVE SOME PAIN AND STAN UP TO WALK IT OUT.ON DRINKS DON'T GULP, JUST GO ZIP BY ZIP IF I GULP I WILL HAVE PAIN ALSO AND BELIEVE ME THEY ARE NOT NICE!!!STILL NOT USED TO THE CHEWING 25 TIMES YET BUT HANNGING IN THERE
