Hi All, I'm finishing up on my 3rd week. I had a few tiny thin fries friday night and a few bites of chicken on a skewer. Saturday I also had two tiny chicken nuggets from chick-fil-a. I am having extreme gas pains in my left lower quadrant. It has moved some, but I've been using gas x strips and moving and the pain continues!!!! Help!!!! Now I'm not getting fluids in because of the pain. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!!! Thanks! p.s. Is this usual?

go to Tickerfactory.com choose what type of ticker you want, follow through and at the end there are two different lines of verbage URL...etc. choose the first one and copy. then paste in your signature on VSG. go under "user CP" and pick edit signature. I hope that helps, I'm not great at detailed directions.:wink0: -

Hi, We had our surgeries a day apart. This sounds really good, but I'd really like to know what all your eating. I haven't been near as creative as you. I've had tuna salad, egg salad, soup, protein drinks. Would you send me a quick line and let me know about a typical day of your food? Thanks, Sheryl

You never know who's listening or who might hear exactly what they need to hear. You have touched my spirit over the last several months like no other human being! Thank you for your candor and pure humility throughout your journey. Not only are you an inspiration in my weight loss & living healthy journey, but also part of my "path of Happy Destiny"! You were beautiful when you started this journey but you've become an amazing spirit along the way! For some reason I just saw your reply to this today. Wow, you are eating good stuff huh? I over did it yesterday with some potatoe soup from Cheddars. Ouch! My left lower quadrant incision is still hurting today! Guess I better start actually measuring!!!! How are you doing?

Way to go Lillie!!! I've lost 12 lbs since surgery on 5/18. How are you feeling and what phase are you on? i.e. full liquids, mushy, etc. -

Learning to adjust to how small an amount of food I need. Over did it on some potatoe soup yesterday, so I'm going back to protein drinks and broth today!!!!:svengo:

Wow, uno! Good for you! Can't wait til I'm that close to goal! I just got sleeved 8 days ago. Things are going good, feel better every day. I'm going to have to get creative with what I'm imputing! Still on liquids, any suggestions?

Sorry to hear your having a bit of a rough time!!! Keep sipping and walking! You are going to do great! I feel 10x better since getting my drain out! I'm still trying to get enough fluids in. My Dr. let's you advance to full liquids(creme soups, cream of wheat, etc) the 2nd week, but I'm going to take that slow because this is still "big loss" time and I don't want to rush into food yet! Once I can get all my fluids (64+ oz h20) then I'll advance. I'm pretty close to that. I also want to find a site online to keep track of everything. Have you picked a site?

Hi kalew, Did you get your drain removed yesterday? Just got my removed today, ouch! Glad to be rid of that! How are you doing? I'm good, still sore and taking it a little easy today. Let me know how ur. Dr. Nick did my sleeve 5/18.

Yeah! So glad you got it approved! I just got sleeved on the 18th of May! One week today! You'll do awesome! Thanks for adding a picture I like to place a face with a name! Do you have any pre-op diet to follow from your Dr.?
