Don't really have a story yet.  Have always been "Big" and have a slew of medical problems....  Thought about Gastric Bypass for years, but have always been too scared.  Recently my mom brought up the idea of LapBand, I didn't really respond to her but seriously started thinking about it.  I thought about it for a few days did research then talked to my husband and have decided to have the surgery.  Called my ins company and found out it is covered 100%.  First step: checking my insurance, second: attending seminar 4/7/10, then I believe a 3 mth supervised diet....and I am on my way to a new life.  I have never had a problem exercising and losing weight, my problem is keeping it off, I can go strong on a diet for 3-6 mths then I hit a plateau and give up and gain everything back plus an extra 20,30,40,50 lbs.  I need long term, I believe its called a Lifetime Change.  I am doing this for my health and to be able to have children.  My husband and I have been married 5 years and are ready to start our own family, I can't wait to hear the pitter patter of little feet in our home!!!
