Day 3 for me. I am pretty hungry. Today I smooshed up 7 green beans and ate 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. There is no way to be on the liquid diet for another 10 days. (20 days total) I think the protein shakes are way more fattening than eating veggis etc. I do my yogurt with like 3 huge scoops of protein mix--almost like paste and just try to gut it down to get the nutritional requirements. I think I should go see a nutritionist because my doctor is so different than what everyone else has been told to do.

Surgery at 2 p.m. I am going to be so hungry! No food, shake or liquid after midnight tonight. Wish me luck!

So true. Any kind of addiction needs to be treated, no matter what kind. I was not thinking of food addiction. I was referring to the OCD issue. I have several students in my class with this disorder and have they gotten treatment. Two of my kids are so much happier! It is awesome to see them smile and hold their heads with confidence now. :thumbup:

I wouldn't tell anyone that you have any compulsive habits. Any mental disorders will be on the required psych evaluation. They may deny you. I know Blue Cross will.

They go by the date/weight that you had your first appointment with the doc. I said the same thing to the nurse. I told her the insurance company would pull something in order not to pay. She assured me they use that first weight. :cool:

It seems like I am the only one that can have only liquids. (10 day diet) My BMI is like 35.8. I am so hungry I could eat my shoe. I wonder why it is that some people get to eat?
