oh Yeah! Once the heat wave hit the East Coast this summer - forget it! I had no appetite, it was hard to eat anytning at all. My band felt super tight. As the humidity lessens in the air, my band is feeling better. I am glad I am not alone with this phenomena

I have been banded now for 16 months, and last summer was fine. This summer I am in my sweet spot (8.75cc) and since the heat wave hit Philadelphia I have not felt hungry or felt like eating. I am glad other people have experienced this. I felt like I was crazy.

WHOO HOOO!!!! Challenge met and conquered! I did it! I lost 16lbs when I weighed in today. I was 255 when I joined the challenge and weighed in at 239 today!!!! YEAH FOR ME!!!!! I am so proud of myself! Now...on to the Christmas challenge....... :scared2:

I have terrible constipation and hard bowel movements. So bad they affected my pelvic floor, and gsve me anal fissures- gross . I take docusate and miralax every single day. I also eat 3 prunes with my breakfast and put benefiber powder in my tea. It keeps things rolling along the correct way now. No more straining!!!:smile2: It will be this ways forever but I don't care because the weight keeps coming off

I am in OA and have had lap band surgery. I also joined weight loss support group for people in OA through therecoverygroup.org they have online meetings Sundays at 5pm. They are great! Try one you may find what you need Gen

I completely understand. i was banded on 4/19. I actually go online to the oa meetings and have been to the oa face to face meetings. It really helps me, maybe you would like to try it .

I have been in OA for 4 years. I had a Realize band on 04/19/10. I have gotten mixed reviews from my fellow OA'rs. Most are positive. A few judgemental-but I figure that's their issue. I work the 12 steps and pray to HP and I believe my HP led me to have the banding- it was not a decision made lightly. I have been attending online meetings through www.therecoverygroup.org and met other OA bandsters like myself while I am recovering from the surgery.
